WCA Model United Nations is a group of hardworking students at Washington Christian Academy who participate in Model United Nations conferences around the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. Any student in 9-12th grade at Washington Christian Academy can join the WCA Model UN group, and we will expect to have meetings either every week or every other week. By joining, you are not signing up to participate in every conference we do, but you are required to participate in CUMUNC (being our flagship conference), and you may participate in any other that we do.
WCA Model UN is led by two students at Washington Christian Academy:
Nate Strong is a Senior at WCA and has been in Model UN for 4 years, being the head delegate for 2. His favorite country to simulate was the USA in the Security Council because even though he disagrees with some foreign policy positions of the US, he enjoyed arguing from the other side, and also enjoyed having veto power. He has also participated in the European Union (2 Years) as France and Greece. Nate is looking at attending Seattle Pacific University next fall and plans to start a Model UN Conference there (so look for it!). He is currently a member of the Student Government at WCA.
Nathanael Kreimeyer is a Senior at WCA who has participated in Model UN for 4 years and also been a head delegate for 2. His Favorite country to simulate was Germany in the Security Council, because on Sunday he was able to take over the world. Nathanael also represented Iraq in the Social, Humanitarian and Culteral Council (SOCHUM) and France in the League of Nations 1945. In the fall, he would like to attend either Liberty University or William and Mary College. He is currently a member of the National Honor Society at WCA.
